🌟 Beyond the Brush Wins a Broward Innovation Grant!
I’m thrilled to share that my project, Beyond the Brush: The Essence of Creative Expression, has been awarded a Broward Innovation Grant!
This cross-disciplinary documentary and exhibition project celebrates six South Florida artists through film, visual art, and storytelling—bridging the gap between viewing art and truly understanding the artist behind it.
The project will debut at MAD Arts in Dania Beach, featuring six artist mini-documentaries, original artworks, and a community engagement program that includes "Storytelling Through the Lens: An Introduction to Filmmaking for Artists" and a live artist panel discussion.
I’m deeply grateful to the Broward Cultural Division, the Community Foundation of Broward, and MAD Arts, founded by Marc Aptakin, for their incredible support and commitment to empowering local artists.
